Back in early November of 2025, I woke up from voluntary brain surgery with a shaved scalp, a titanium plate holding my skull together, and a nurse asking if I wanted apple juice. What I wanted was flavor – something sharp enough to cut through the fog of anesthesia and the bland hospital food.

That night, wired to monitors, I started scribbling on the back of a meal menu. Red chilies for heat. Bell pepper, carrot, agave for sweetness. Smoked paprika for a whisper of smoke. A name that made me grin through the haze: “BrainBuzz Hot Sauce”.
